Mount men's soccer team drops 1-0 home decision to HCAC-rival Defiance College

Defiance College scored a goal in the game's eighth minute of play today, and made it stand up as they posted a 1-0 win at the Mount. The Lions, 2-7-1 overall, 0-1 in the HCAC, return to action on Oct. 3 at Bluffton University.

The Mount out-shot the Yellow Jackets, 14-10 in the game, but had just one shot on goal. Defiance scored 7:19 into the game. The Lions played all three 'keepers in the game, with Tyler Kenyon (Cincinnati, OH/Mariemont) starting, and playing 40:17 in goal, and making three saves. Both teams had three corner kicks.
