Three Mount men's lacrosse players named First and Second Team All-MLC

2013 Mount leading scorer Will McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira), a senior attacker, headlines a list of seven Lions' players named to the All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference teams for the recently completed spring season. McClanahan was named First Team All-MLC for the second straight season, his fourth straight All-Conference honor, as he was named Second Team All-MLC in 2010 and Honorable Mention in 2011. McClanahan led the team in goals (60), tied for first in assists (18) and was the leading scorer with 78 points this season.

Patrick McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira) a sophomore midfielder; and teammate Ryan Gallagher (Chicago, IL/St. Rita), a junior attacker, were selected Second Team. Patrick McClanahan had 27 goals and four assists for 31 points in 2013; while Gallagher was second in goals (40) and points (52). The All-Conference awards were the first such for Patrick McClanahan and Gallagher.

Junior defender Joe Busam (Mason, OH/Moeller), senior defender Jared Crowley (St. Louis, MO/CBC), senior defender Aaron Barton (Loveland, OH/Loveland), and sophomore face-off Andrew Stoffer (Palatine, IL/Palatine) were each selected Honorable Mention All-MLC. Busam started all 18 games the Lions played in 2013, and had two assists; while Crowley had 18 startes and Barton, in 15 starts, scored his first career goal. Stoffer also started every game in 2013, and added 10 goals and 17 assists; and was the team's top face-off player. Crowley picked up First Team and Second Team All-Conference awards the past two seasons, while the end-of-season awards this spring for the first such for Busam, Barton and Stoffer.
