Mount junior Ryan Gallagher (Chicago, IL/St. Rita) scored six goals, as he helped the Lions to a 7-1 lead on Saturday and they rolled to a 13-1 victory at MLC-rival Elmhurst College. The Lions, 4-3 overall, 2-0 in the conferece, are tied for second place in the MLC with Concordia (WI). Aurora leads the way with a 3-0 conference mark.

The Mount bolted out to a 3-0 lead against Elmhurst College, while the home team got on the scoreboard with 6:19 showing on the first quarter clock. The Mount, which out-shot their opponents, 44-11, including 34-6 in shots on goal, got goals from six different players. Will McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira) added two goals and four assists while Patrick McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira) chipped in two goals. Joe Illencik (Youngstown, OH/Cardinal Mooney) played the entire game in goal for the Mount, picking up the win and recording five saves.
