The College of Mount St. Joseph's men's lacrosse team fell to 0-2 on the season after losing at Ohio Wesleyan University on Wednesday night, 21-1. The Lions return to action on March 1 when they host Alma College.

Ohio Wesleyan got the scoring started in the game against the Mount early in the first quarter. The Lions knotted the game at one-all  four minutes later when Will McClanahan (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira) tallied an unassisted goal. The Bishops, however, scored 12 unanswered goals through the first and second quarters, to take a 13-1 lead into the locker room at the half. Ohio Wesleyan added eight more goals in the second half, as they blanked the Mount over the last 30 minutes of the game.

The Bishops out-shot the Mount, 54-11 in the game, including 30-6 in shots on goal.
