Lion's Golf plays at Hanover Spring Invite

The College of Mount St. Joseph men’s golf team had players travel to compete at the Hanover Spring Invitational. However, the Lions did not record a team score. Over the two-day event, at the par 72 Shadowood Golf Course, Davenport University finished first with a score of 588. Host Hanover College finished second at 596, with Rose-Hulman third at 608.

Leading the way for the Lions was a pair of golfers Ben Schneider (Cincinnati, OH/LaSalle) and John Capella (Sydney, OH/Lehman Catholic), who finished in a tie for 13th place The pair ended the event with a score of 152.

Also, with a top twenty finish was Weston Atchison (Pataskala, OH/Watkins Memorial). Atchison shot 154 to finish in a tie for 20th place. Connor McGarry (Lexington, KY/Lexington Catholic) shot 159 to take a 32nd place finish.

The Lions will attend the Defiance College Invitational next weekend.
