Mount men's golf team places eighth at the Hanover College Spring Invite

The Lions' men's golf team finished up a busy weekend of golf on Sunday at the Hanover College Spring Invite, turning in an eighth place finish among 11 teams. Host Hanover College won the April 6-7, 36-hole tournament, turning in a team score of 618, followed by Northwestern Ohio (625). The Mount totaled 648 as a team.

Conor McGarry (Lexington, KY/Lexington Catholic) led the way individually for the Lions, tying for 10th place with an 80-76--156, 12 strokes over par. Teammate Tom Witterstaetter (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) came in tied for 19th place, shooting a 79-80--159 while Ben Schneider (Cincinnati, OH/La Salle) finished with an 80-80--160, good for a 22nd place tie.

The Mount is back in action on April 13-14 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Invitational.
