2014 Roger Bacon grad and runner Bailey Rolsen to attend the Mount

The College of Mount St. Joseph officially announces that 2014 Roger Bacon High School graduate Bailey Rolsen will attend the Mount and run cross country, and track & field in the fall.

Rolsen, who ran for high school Head Coach Michael Braun, had personal-best track & field marks in the 800, 2:08, (2013) and 1600, 4:57.4, (2014); as well as a personal-best time of 18:38 (2012) in cross country.

He was a 2012-2013 All-GCL Second Team honoree in cross country; and made the All-GLC First Team in track & field in 2011-2012 in the 1600, and 3200 meter relay. In 2012-2013, he was a First-Team All-GCL honoree in the 800 and 3200 meter relay. Rolsen was named Central First Team in 2013-2014 for the 800 run. He was also All-GCL Second Team in 2012-2013 for soccer.

In addition, Rolsen, who also played soccer in high school, was a two-time All-GCL Second Team honoree, won First Team All-GCL honors in 2013-2014 was named GCL coed Co-Player of the Year, and was selected by All-Division III Honorable Mention by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Bailey, the son of Alice and Ray Rolsen, is planning on majoring in Psychology.
