Lions' men's cross country opens season at the Franklin College Sodexo Grizzly Invitational

The Lions began their 2013 cross country season on Saturday morning at the Sodexo Grizzly Inviational at Franklin College. The Mount finished in eighth place, as Vincennes University and Spalding University tied for first in the team standings.

The Mount was led by Chris Klaine (North Bend, OH/Taylor), who placed 44th individually with a time of 20:03.43 and Alex Griffin (Cleves, OH/Taylor), who was 45th with a time of 20:34.57. Anthony Knox (Millersport, OH/Fisher Catholic) was 48th. The Lions had seven runners in all compete.

The Mount is back in action on Sept. 7 at the Hanover College Invitational.
