by Dane Neumeister

College of Mount St. Joseph Lions' fullback Mike Klekotka (Miami, FL/Miami Palmetto Sr.) has been invited and will play in the 2013 National Bowl Game. The game will take place on Dec. 8 on Alonzo Field at Florida International University Stadium in Miami, FL. Game time is noon.

Klekota, a senior, was a four-year at the Mount, playing fullback and used primarily as a blocking back. Klekotka helped pave the way for James Clay's 2012 season in which Clay led the nation in rushing yards (all Divisions) and set numerous Mount records. In his career, Klekotka rushed 23 times for 77 yards and a touchdown. He will play for the Blue Nation team, as they will oppose a Red Nation roster of seniors.
