Mount running back James Clay selected to play in the Ohio-Michigan Senior game

College of Mount St. Joseph senior running back James Clay (Louisville, KY/duPont Manual), who was the nation’s leading rusher across all divisions last fall, totaling 2,124 yards on the ground, has been selected to play for Team Ohio in the 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl. The game is to be played on Saturday, April 20 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

Clay, who also totaled 23 touchdowns during the 2012 season, including 21 rushing scores, joins Bowling Green’s John Pettigrew, and Findlay’s Monterae Williams in the North team backfield. Click here for the North team roster.

The 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan Senior marks the fourth year of the Senior Bowl, but the first with the Ohio vs. Michigan format. The Senior Bowl features the top collegiate football players from Ohio and Michigan from all divisions including - NCAA FBS, FCS, DII, DIII and NAIA.

Team Ohio will be coached by Ohio Dominican’s Bill Conley and Matt Mitchell, of Grand Valley State, will coach Team Michigan.
