College of Mount St. Joseph senior pitcher Drew Ernst (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) has been selected as a "Player to Watch" this season for the upcoming college baseball season by the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Ernst, who missed last season with a labrum injury in his left throwing shoulder, is expected to be ready to open the 2013 season for the Mount.

Ernst, a two-time All-HCAC honoree, has a 13-10 career mark and his 156 strikeouts are third all-time for the Mount.
